The beautiful refurbishment. The relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The hosts, Tony, Penny and Charlotte who spent time giving recommendations on where to see and eat. The stories of the history of the buildings. The wonderful rooms and pool/garden areas. It was wonderful!

Tony, Penny and Charlotte run an excellent guest house. From the initial warmth of their welcome to our depature, everything was perfect. May I say that I travel quite a bit and by nature I would call myself a critical person who expects good standards and value for money. Quite frankly this place leaves me in a quandry as I find it impossible to identify any possible fault with either our hosts or the establishment. As I said to Penny on my departure "it's all downhill for the rest of our vacation as no where else would be able to match their standards!"

Beautiful Quinta with fantastic hosts. Penny and Tony gave us a very warm welcome and were available to help you get the most out of your stay. The suite was very spacious and furnished in traditional Portuguese style which fitted so well with the ambiance of the Quinta. The pool looked lovely too if only the weather had permitted a dip. Definitely somewhere to re-visit.
